Our Leadership Promise to Your Family

My core belief is to operate under a philosophy of leadership that will always put your family first. I practice servant leadership with the goal to serve, shield, and uplift you and your child. Much of my work is rooted in positive psychology, seeking to nurture your child’s natural character strengths and promote their creativity. Through a transformational lens, I don’t just manage daily behaviors but also I partner with you to create new ways to strengthen their daily lives. Shifting the thoughts and feelings of surviving to those of thriving.

You don’t have to navigate the transitions alone. Together, we will build a supportive, predictable world that honors your child’s brilliant mind while giving them the skills they need to soar.

Our Journey

Our Commitment to Autonomy-Supportive Care

I strongly believe that true behavior change cannot be forced through strict client compliance or masking. This practice is fiercely autonomy-supportive and collaborative. For our youngest students, this means offering choices into their daily schedules, honoring their sensory boundaries, and treating their behavior as important communication. For our parents and young adults, it means we act as partners and guides, never as authoritarian experts.

You define the destination; I simply provide the data-informed behavioral strategies and supports to help you get there safely.

My Coaching Framework & Methods

I combine evidence-based behavioral systems with the core pillars of positive psychology and wellness coaching.

  • Values Realignment & Visioning: We help clients (and parents) define their core values to ensure every behavioral goal is personally meaningful, and not influenced imposed from somewhere else.
  • Character Strengths Assessments: Utilizing tools like the VIA Character Strengths, we map out individual virtues (e.g., creativity, hyper-focus, curiosity) and build intervention plans that leverage these natural talents.
  • Objective Goal Setting & Shaping: We combine the coaching practice of goal setting with ABA’s method of shaping. We break life transitions down into smaller, measurable, and highly reinforcing milestones.
  • Reflective Prompting: We use open-ended, non-judgmental questioning to guide adolescents and parents toward discovering their own internal strengths and use them to find environmental solutions.

What to Expect During Our Sessions

All sessions with the parent, adolescents, or young adults in a vocational setting, our sessions always follow an individualized but predictable pattern:

  • A Welcome & Mindful Check-In: We connect, evaluate current stress levels, and celebrate any small victories from the week.
  • Collaborative Agenda Setting: The client (or parent) determines what they would like to tackle that day.
  • Strengths-Based Action Steps: We review objective data or previous discussions/topics from previously used materials, methods, and self-monitoring tools. We identify environmental challenges or triggers, and co-create visual checklists or behavioral modifications to make routines easier.
  • A Non-Judgmental Wrap-Up: We establish clear, bite-sized action plans for the upcoming week, ensuring the client feels capable, confident, and entirely in control of their next steps.
